Our 2024-25 District Wide Safety Plan is available for public review at https://5il.co/2m6ky . The Board of Education has reviewed and updated the plan and has scheduled a Public Hearing on the plan for June 25, 2024 6pm in the CHS library. The Board plans to adopt the updated plan at its July 9th organizational meeting.
2024 Prom Dress Drive: donate your clean, gently worn dresses to the Prom Dress Fund. All donations will be used to provide area students with free dresses for the 2025 prom season. You can drop off dresses between May 22 - June 21 to Chatham High School. *Only dresses that are 5 years or newer will be accepted.

6th Grade Dairy Queen Fundraiser - stop in or drive thru the Ghent Dairy Queen on Thursday, May 2 from 3-7PM for a bite to eat and some delicious ice cream! Part of the proceeds will support our 6th grade end-of-the-year activities.
Chatham CSD's annual public hearing on the proposed school budget will be held May 14 at 6pm in the Chatham High School library. At the hearing, school officials will present details of the 2024-2025 school budget.

Please note: starting with the May 14, 2024 Board of Education meeting and budget hearing, the Board will return to its regular meeting start time of 6:00 p.m. in the High School Library.

The Chatham Panthers varsity baseball team is playing in the Hope Rocks Hardball Invitational on May 4 at Cantine Field in Saugerties. It's Chatham vs. Pine Plains at 10AM. Hope Rocks is a grassroots movement to empower, engage, educate, and enlighten communities about mental health and the fight against addiction and suicide.

Enjoy a late morning or early afternoon of painting and goodies when the Class of 2027 hosts a Canvas & Cookies painting event on Saturday, April 13. Two sessions will be hosted to accommodate painters of all age groups (10am families with students k-5, Noon adults & students grade 6 and up). Sessions will be led by retired Chatham art teacher Patrice Tomaso featuring a design for elementary and a sunset scene for adults & students grade 6 and up. Cost is $15 per person, which includes a canvas and various baked goods to choose enjoy. All proceeds will benefit our freshmen class. Nominating petitions for Board of Education candidates can be picked up in the district clerk's office at MED. Petitions are due April 22.
