GENERAL MECHANIC - The Chatham Central School District, Chatham, New York, a progressive and child-centered district with an involved community, seeks qualified candidates to fill the role of 12-month General Mechanic. Preferred candidates will demonstrate good knowledge of maintaining records, be a skilled diesel technician, able to work independently, repair, overhaul & service gasoline and diesel motor equipment, school buses, trucks, cars, inventory parts & supplies, and drive a school bus.  Must own complete set tools.  Minimum 2 years recent experience.
