
The CHS Pops Concert is this Wednesday, October 30, 7:30pm in the CHS auditorium. Featuring the CHS Chorus, Concert Band, Orchestra, and Jazz Band. A donation at the door is encouraged to support the Fine Arts Booster Club. Come dressed in costume to be entered for a chance to win a prize.

If you plan on trick-or-treating in the village this Halloween, be sure to stop by CMS. Chatham teachers will have a tent set up out front and will be handing out candy from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Halloween night!

It’s Dairy Queen Night! Tonight, October 18, come out to the Dairy Queen in Ghent to help support the 7th grade. DQ is generously donating 20% of its proceeds during that time. Be sweet - all you have to do is eat.

Chatham Central Schools will dismiss all students approximately 15 minutes early today, October 4, as part of our annually required Go Home Early Drill. The purpose of this drill is to practice our schools’ emergency dismissal procedures and you are receiving this message as a test of our emergency notification system.

Please note that all our schools will release students a few minutes early on Friday, October 4 as part of the required annual drill to practice emergency dismissal procedures. CMS will dismiss at 2:00 p.m., MED will dismiss at 2:15 p.m., and CHS will dismiss at 2:20 p.m. Please also be aware that as part of the drill, we will use our automated emergency contact system to alert parents and guardians to the early dismissal. If you do not receive an automated notification on the day of the drill, contact your school’s main office to let them know and to make sure they have your up-to-date contact information.

The Board of Education has scheduled a workshop for Wednesday, September 18, 2024, 5:00-8:00 p.m. in the CHS library.

A reminder that we will be holding our 1st mandatory bus safety drills at dismissal today, Thursday, September 12, and that our buses will be dropping students off approximately 10-15 minutes later than usual.


Please be advised that buses 7, 15, and 19 will be dropping students off later than usual today, Friday, Sept. 6 due to traffic delays along their route.
