Check out the Veterans Day display at MED, courtesy of the MED PTA! The Chatham American Legion post was kind enough to lend the PTA some wonderful memorabilia to help honor our local Veterans and commemorate Veterans Day. On Friday, MED parent and American Legion Auxiliary member Crystal Coolidge, along with other members of the Auxiliary, decorated the foyer with items that included equipment, photos, ribbons and insignia, even a 34-star Union Civil War flag from 1861. The PTA thanks the Chatham American Legion, the Chatham American Legion Auxiliary and Ms. Coolidge for their time and effort in bringing this meaningful display to MED. This installation coincides with an MED-wide Veterans Day assembly the PTA is organizing for November 10.
