Dear Chatham Middle School families,
I am writing to let you know that Mr. Burns, our principal at Chatham Middle School, will be leaving us at the end of August. Mr. Burns has accepted a position with the Questar III BOCES, where he will be working with schools at the regional level as Questar’s early learning principal.
On behalf of the Chatham Central School District, I would like to thank Mr. Burns for his many years of dedicated service to CMS and to our District as a whole. We wish him the best in this new phase of his career in education.
In the meantime, I want to reassure our families that the District is formulating a plan for his replacement and we fully expect to have a new principal in place at CMS for the start of this school year. As always, we will keep you posted. Sincerely,
