COVID-19 Update Banner

As a result of recent supply chain issues limiting the availability of test kits region wide, Columbia County schools, in consultation with the Columbia County Department of Health, have modified the COVID-19 testing program for interscholastic athletics. Unvaccinated athletes participating in high-risk sports (all levels of football, volleyball, cheer) will be required to be tested, at a rate of twice per week. The testing requirement for all other athletes has been suspended. This change will be in effect Monday, September 6, 2021 until further notice. It is strongly recommended by the Department of Health and the CDC that all student-athletes receive a COVID-19 vaccine.
