student questioning witness in mock trial

Chatham High School's Business Law class ended the school year with an engaging mock trial that gave students the opportunity to apply their legal knowledge in a realistic courtroom setting. Students took on the roles of attorneys, witnesses, and the defendant as they presented their case before a jury. The jury panel consisted of our school resource deputy, faculty, and students. CHS business teacher Emily Kreutziger acted as the judge. This hands-on experience allowed students to strengthen their critical thinking, public speaking, and teamwork skills while gaining valuable insight into the legal system. The mock trial was a memorable and exciting way to celebrate a successful year of learning!
