Chatham Middle School hosted its 5th to 6th Grade Parent Orientation May 27 as the launch to upcoming activities to acquaint our soon-to-be 6th grade families. Administrative, counseling, and 5th grade teaching staff presented on the routines and schedule to expect, tips for student success, student club opportunities, and the unique developmental needs of a middle schooler.
CMS counselor Mrs. Hoffman will spend the day with the fifth grade next week, then all fifth graders will visit CMS on June 18 to meet staff and students. 6th Grade Locker Day is set for September 1.
