All five of our varsity teams made the grade for the 2026 spring season and have been named scholar athlete teams by the New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA). The Panthers’ baseball, softball, boys tennis, girls track, and boys track teams will each receive a certificate from the NYSPHSAA recognizing their high level of academic achievement while playing at the varsity level. In order to qualify for this honor, each team held a collective grade point average (GPA) of 90 or better among at least 75 percent of the athletes on the roster. Any varsity athlete who held a personal GPA of 90 or higher will also receive a scholar athlete pin from the NYSPHSAA.
Softball - 94.60 average, nine athletes awarded pins
Girls Track - 94.31 average, 23 athletes awarded pins
Boys Tennis - 91.59 average, eight athletes awarded pins
Baseball - 91.00 average, nine athletes awarded pins
Boys Track - 90.27 average, nine athletes awarded pins
