A huge shout out to Chatham Middle School’s What's So Cool About Manufacturing Club. If you recall earlier this month, we asked all of you to vote for their video about the Sonoco plastics plant as part of the regional What’s So Cool about Manufacturing contest. We are proud to announce that Chatham - the smallest school competing in this contest - beat out 14 other schools to win the Viewers Choice Award. Their video collected over 14,018 votes in the manufacturing video competition, a testament to the club's hard work and to all of you in our community who helped make this happen! Chatham was also the runner up for the Outstanding Educational Value Award. Congrats to Bryce Schuster, Emerson Sublett, Smith Galvin, Nicole Genovese, Pepper Wall, and advisors Mrs. Fuller & Mrs. Velez for their win. They were honored last night at an awards event at Proctor’s Theatre in Schenectady. We might be small but we certainly are mighty!
