The Chatham Middle School Fishing Club hit the water for the first time this season, not to catch fish, but to release them. The Ghent Sportsman's Association invited the club to participate in the annual trout stocking for their upcoming free youth fishing derby happening Saturday, April 25. Fishing Club has multiple outings planned through the end of the year, supported by a grant from the Chatham Education Foundation of the Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation that allowed this popular club club to purchase more tackle. The big one is out there!
