With the CMS theme for March being ‘teamwork,’ the school hosted Proctors Theatre’s On-The-Go production of They Built America: Workers of the Erie Canal on March 4. The play is a story of teamwork that, through music and storytelling, brings to life the real men, women, children, politicians, farmers, merchants, and laborers who built the Erie Canal – the engineering marvel that transformed America from a burgeoning country into a great nation.
