Congratulations to CHS senior and Student Representative to the Board of Education Jaidan Blair for being named Chatham High School's 2025-2026 Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) Good Citizen.
The DAR awards this honor to a student from each school in the county who exemplifies the four pillars of outstanding citizenship: dependability, service, leadership, and patriotism. Jaidan was first nominated by the CHS faculty and ultimately chosen through a vote by her peers in the Class of 2026.
Jaidan had to complete the DAR's rigorous application process and submit a comprehensive portfolio of her leadership activities and teacher recommendations. She also completed a timed, proctored essay on a patriotic topic provided by the DAR.
Jaidan and her family were recently honored at a reception at the DAR offices in Hudson, where she received a monetary prize and formal recognition for her achievements. CHS is proud to have Jaidan as a leader and active contributor in our school and community.
