Chatham High School has been visited by an Elf on the Shelf! This holiday season, CHS SADD engaged the student body in an elf naming contest and scavenger hunt. Since the elf needed a name, SADD invited students to submit suggestions and vote for their favorite. Cocoa Pepper Mittens, submitted by 12th grader Aubrey Rowe, was the winner! Aubrey won a JBL Bluetooth Speaker for her winning elf name..
Each day throughout December, Cocoa Pepper Mittens popped up in a different location in the school. Students tracked him by logging his whereabouts on a calendar. On December 19, students entered their completed calendars into a drawing for prizes. Our 1st-place elf sleuth, Lyla Rowe, won pair of Apple AirPods. Lola Lezama, our 2nd-place winner, got a $25 Amazon gift card!
SADD (and Cocoa Pepper Mittens) would like to wish everyone a safe and happy holiday season!
