Chatham High School's Financial Literacy and Intro to Business classes had the pleasure of meeting and speaking with Arica Cooper, president of Arica’s Insurance and Arica’s Notary Service. Despite her busy schedule, she visited CHS to participated in a Q&A with the students. It was a great opportunity for them to gain first-hand insight of the insurance and small business world from Ms. Cooper's perspective. She shared her story, how insurance works, what types of insurance her business sells, how to shop for insurance, and what it is like owning a small business in Columbia County. She also shared her opportunities for internships for teens which sparked an interest for many! Many thanks to Arica!
