For the 2025-26 school year, the Chatham Education Foundation is pleased to offer grants to support 29 projects benefiting students in the Chatham Central School District. Totaling $32,695, these grants provide learning enrichment for students in all three of our school buildings and across all grade levels.
The CEF awarded grants to support such varied programs as:
trips to museums and theater productions
student clubs such as the CMS Fishing Club and CHS Chess Club
an anti-bullying BMX assembly
in-class projects such as nature watching, the stock market challenge, and food for the soul
MED's Care Closet and CHS's Activities with Buddies
A tour of Chatham's Past and Present
a circus project at the Morris Memorial after-school program
The CEF Board of Directors is grateful to the Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation's support, which allows them to sponsor so many great projects for our students. Pictured here are some of the awardees who the Board recently met with to discuss their upcoming projects.
