Chatham High School's Business Law class enjoyed a firsthand look at the legal system in action November 17 with their annual field trip to the Columbia County Sheriff's Office.

"This was a valuable opportunity to connect classroom concepts with real-world practices," remarked Mrs. Kreutziger, CHS' business teacher. "Thank you to Sergeant Patrick McMahon for leading our tour and answering many questions!"

Students also spoke with many representatives, including those from investigations, civil law, and dispatching.
