MED celebrated having a great school year with a ValleyCats and Outdoor Day on June 11. Mrs. Reno was very impressed with the student's good behavior and character throughout the year, as demonstrated during the school's monthly Effective School Assemblies.
Thanks to a grant from the Chatham Education Foundation, the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades took in a ValleyCats game at Joe Bruno Stadium in Troy. Using our connections at the game, we were able to give a special retirement shout out to Mrs. Colwell on the big board! The kids had a great time and the ValleyCats won.
At MED, pre-k, kindergarten, and 1st grade enjoyed an Outdoor Day with events like a picnic lunch, water balloon fights, and a spring scavenger hunt on the playground!
