Three federal judges and two defensive attorneys from the US District Court of the Northern District visited Ms. Keegan's 12th grade Government classes on May 7 to discuss the constitution and the role of the judicial branch in the US government. Students learned about how federal judges are appointed and confirmed and the role defense attorneys play in the US Court system. Students also learned about the importance of civility in politics and how participation in the democratic system is required for the success of the nation.
