At the January 23 Board of Education meeting, the Board discussed next year‘s football season and the possibility of merging with Hudson’s football program due to a declining number of Chatham students participating in our program. This discussion followed several outreach activities over the last month that included a community forum and a survey to determine our students' interest in football for next year. The Board membership came to a consensus not to merge for the fall 2024 season and to use this time to carefully and thoroughly look at the situation to ensure that any plan for the future will deliver the best results for our football program.
