cast on stage in victorian outfits

Young love was sabotaged by meddling, gossip and deception when William Shakespeare’s comedy Much Ado About Nothing hit the Chatham High School stage November 10 and 11, with a final performance on November 19 at the Tina Packer Playhouse in Lenox, Massachusetts as part of Shakespeare & Company’s 2023 Fall Festival of Shakespeare. Directed by Nick Nudler and Beth Somerville, Chatham’s staging of Much Ado about Nothing was produced in partnership with the Fall Festival of Shakespeare sponsored by Shakespeare & Company of Lenox, MA. This immersive artist-in-residency program gives students the opportunity to delve into the works of Shakespeare under the tutelage of professional directors, actors, and stage technicians as they develop an 80-minute, full-scale production of the play.
