Mr. Stead and Mr. Fortran talk to audience of fifth graders

To help our soon-to-be sixth graders transition into middle school, the fifth grade spent an entire day at CMS this week to take tours of the building, experience changing classes on a full-day bell schedule, and attend two special events in the school’s library. At the first event, they met the staff and learned about the different subjects and projects, what will be expected of them as sixth graders, and other highlights. During the second event, seventh grade key communicator students presented their favorite aspects of CMS and provided helpful tips on how to be successful. In upcoming transition events, CMS counselor Jackie Hoffman created a "Sixth Grade News" video with our sixth grade key communicators, which the fifth graders will get to watch during Ms. Hoffman’s visit to MED this Friday. Locker Morning is scheduled for August 3O.
