As part of our 8th grade's unit on World War II, Sheriff's Deputy Pat McMahon brought in some of his  militaria collection to show to the class.  It included authentic American, British, German and Japanese uniforms and helmets, the first hand-held radio used by American troops, and various anti-tank shells (all inert) from both Allied and Axis powers.  He shared his extensive knowledge about each piece and described  how they were used during the war.
