Great news! For the first time, Chatham Central School District will be able to offer a universal prekindergarten program starting with the 2023-24 school year. Our pre-k program is open to children who will turn four years of age on or before December 1, 2023 and who are residents of the District. This will be a full-day program with transportation provided for children age 4 and older and access to the school’s breakfast and lunch program.
Registration is open from March 1 through April 15, 2023. To register, please complete the online PreK Registration Form (which will be posted to our website March 1) or contact the registrar, Emily Qua, at 518-392-1535 or quae@chatham.k12.ny.us.
We will contact families who register about scheduling a screening appointment for your child in June.
Universal pre-k is offered at no charge to families. Please note that there may be a limited number of spots available depending on the availability of grant funding provided through the state and federal governments.
