The Board of Education of the Chatham Central School District is committed to providing all students, including those with disabilities, a free appropriate education in the least restrictive environment. The Committee on Special Education (CSE) will identify, evaluate, and recommend placement of students with disabilities who are in need of special services or programs.

The Committee on Preschool Special Education (CPSE) is responsible for evaluation, recommendation and provision of special education programs and services for preschool students, ages 3-5, with a disability.
