Mrs. Ewers' second grade class participated in a Monster Match Collaboration facilitated by NYS Distance Learning Consortium. The class paired up with a third grade class in the Phoenix Central School District, located in western NY, to create monsters together. Mrs. Ewers' class created a monster and wrote a set of directions for their partner class to follow to recreate the monster. Mrs. Ewers's class also received a set of written directions from their partner class which they followed to recreate that class’ monster. The Friday before Halloween, both classes met for the first time via Google Meet to reveal their finished monsters. Mrs. Ewers's class was very excited to meet their partner class and see how well they did following the written directions!
