Mrs. Baskiewicz’s Kindergarten class turned into mini-meteorologists for Groundhog Day! On Friday, they practiced their prediction skills by guessing if the groundhog would see his shadow. On Monday, the classroom was definitely divided after watching Punxsutawney Phil predict six more weeks of winter - we had plenty of winter lovers cheering for six more weeks of snow, while others were definitely ready for sunshine and an early spring! They wrapped up the fun by making festive crowns and their very own groundhog puppets.
