Representatives from Herrington’s and Questar III visited MED to give our fourth graders a hands-on woodworking experience. With a few tools, some guidance, and a little elbow grease, the students transformed wood and nails into their very own toolboxes. Herrington's supplied all materials, tools, and skilled staff to support students as they assembled their kits.
Questar III and Herrington's are partners in the Northeast Construction Trades Workforce Coalition, which seeks to raise awareness with students about rewarding careers in the trades through hands-on STEM activities. Questar III's Business & Education Partnership Service coordinated and facilitated the activity at MED.
