Congratulations to Mira Pierce, who is the winner of Chatham Central School District’s 2021 Spelling Bee. The 8th grader spelled her way to the top of a tough field of competitors from grades four through eight as the event streamed live from MED on December 23. As Chatham’s newly crowned spelling champion, she qualifies to compete in the Capital Region Spelling Bee, scheduled to take place on February 8, 2022 at Proctors Theatre in Schenectady.
