Dear Families,

Welcome to Second Grade! We will be learning so many new and interesting things in 2nd grade.  Enjoy your summer and keep reading every day!  Below is a list of supplies that will help your child be prepared for the new school year.

• 2 packages of glue sticks 

• 2 boxes of crayons (no more than 24 please per box) 

• 1 box of tissues

• 4 two pocket folders (1 blue, 1 red, 1 yellow and 1 green- the plastic ones hold up best)

• 1 pair of scissors

• 12 sharpened pencils (Ticonderoga work best)

• 1 black marble composition notebook

• 2 pair of durable and comfortable headphones or earbuds (one for a back up)

• 1 four pack container of playdough

• sandwich bag box 

• 1 gallon size box 

Please label all of your child’s supplies.  If you have trouble getting any of these supplies, please let us know so we can assist.  

If you would like to contribute to the classroom supplies we could also use any of the following:

• colored copy paper

• plasticware (spoons and forks)

• paper products (plate, napkins, and cups)

• absorbent paper towels

** A pencil box will be provided for each student**
