2nd Grade Supply List

2026-27

Dear Families,

Welcome to Second Grade! We will be learning so many new and interesting things in second grade. Below is a list of supplies that will help your child be prepared for the 2026-27 school year.

Ms. Craft's class

  • 2 packages of glue sticks

  • 1 box of crayons (24 count)

  • 1 box of washable markers (10 count)

  • 1 box of colored pencils (12 count)

  • 2 boxes of tissues

  • 2 rolls of paper towels

  • 3 two-pocket folders (1 blue, 1 red, 1 yellow; the plastic ones hold up best)

  • 1 pair of scissors

  • 12 sharpened pencils 

  • 1 black marble composition notebook

  • 2 pairs of durable and comfortable headphones or earbuds (one as a backup)

  • 1 four-pack container of Play-Doh

  • 1 package of pink erasers (2 pack)

  • 1 package of EXPO Dry Erase Markers, Thick/Chisel Tip (4 pack)

Please label all of your child's supplies.

If you would like to contribute to the classroom supplies, we could also use any of the following:

  • Ziploc bags (sandwich size)

  • Plastic utensils (spoons and forks)

  • Paper products (plates, napkins, and cups)

  • Individually packed classroom snacks

A pencil box will be provided for each student.

Mrs. Kolb's class

  • 2 boxes of crayons (Only the 24 packs of crayons) 

  • 2 boxes of tissues

  • 1 blue pocket folder 

  • 1 pair of scissors

  • 2 packs pre-sharpened pencils (Ticonderoga work best)

  • 1 black marble composition notebook

  • 2 pairs of durable and comfortable headphones or earbuds- please label these with your their name

    • One will be a backup pair

  • 1 four pack of playdough

**A crayon box will be provided for each student**

If you would like to contribute to the classroom supplies we could always use any of the following:

  • Paper towels

  • Plastic spoons and forks

  • Plastic cups

  • Paper plates

  • Prepackaged snacks

  • Gallon sized ziplock bags

Needs 

  • 1 pack of Ticonderoga #2 pencils 

  • 1 plastic folder (whatever design or color!) 

  • 1 green plastic folder 

  • 2 boxes of crayons (max. 24 pack) 

  • 1 pair of scissors 

  • 1 spiral-bound notebook 

  • 2 pairs of durable headphones (no Bluetooth) 

  • 1 pack of Expo fine point dry erase 

    markers (12 pack) 

  • 1 four-pack of Play-Doh 

  • 1 four-pack of tissues (in a box) 

Wants 

  • individually pre-packaged snacks 

  • absorbent paper towels 

  • plastic spoons
