The screening dates for next year’s pre-k program will take place in the afternoon of June 16, 17, 22, and 23. This targeted program was created to identify children with deficits in school readiness and/or family barriers that might otherwise limit their access to other preschool programs. It is only open to children residing in the Chatham Central School District and who will be four years of age on or before December 1, 2022. It is a full-day program serving no more than 15 students. There is no charge for this program and transportation is available for children age four and older in accordance with the district transportation policies.

If you believe your child meets the above eligibility requirements and would benefit from our Pre-K program, please contact Jess Williams, M.E.D. building secretary, at (518) 392-2400 ext. 3001 to schedule a screening appointment.

You will need to bring your child, his or her birth certificate or other proof of age and 1 proof of residency with you to the screening appointment.
