October 24 was MED's first Effective School Assembly of the school year, during which we celebrated our students' collective achievement in class. October's theme was at MED was "Kindness."
Mrs. Reno talked about how wonderful it is to be kind to others and that everyone can easily spread kindness with simple acts.
We also gave out our monthly awards for outstanding effort, participation and behavior:
Golden Sneakers for physical education - Mrs. Botsford's Class and Ms. Gomm's class
Golden Library Book for library - Ms. McCullough's class
Golden Paintbrush for art - Mrs. Rudat's class
Golden Tambourine for music - Mrs. Van Wie's class
Golden Trashcan for the cleanest classroom - Mrs. Mulica's class
Golden Whistle for recess - Mrs. Rudat's class
Golden Cafeteria Tray for lunch - Mrs. Cutler's class
NEW Golden Snargg for most i-Ready minutes - Mrs. Grill and Mrs. Wrigley's class
And the winner of the principal's award for most kindness was Blue House!
