5th grade science students received Living Wise energy saving kits today. These kits were donated by NYSEG to help families save money at home with their Smart Energy program. The kits included items like LED light bulbs, a high-efficiency showerhead, faucet aerators, a digital thermometer, a window insulation kit, and weather stripping. Students in Mrs. Reichardt's classes will learn about energy saving tips throughout the year while their families have the opportunity to support cost saving practices at home.
