Eighth graders enjoyed some tangible history on December 23 when School Resource Deputy Pat McMahon brought in items from his militaria collection as part of their unit on World War I. These included a gas mask, medical kit, helmets, uniforms, and other supplies. Deputy McMahon described the items, talked about how soldiers used them, and answered the students' questions. He even let many of the students try on the US Army jackets and various helmets in his collection.
