Dear 6th Grade Families,
It is hard to believe that summer vacation will be over soon. We hope that you had an enjoyable summer and are ready for a productive year in sixth grade.
The sixth grade teachers are Ms. Baldauf, Mr. Heussler, Mrs. Ladd, Mrs. Richard and Mrs. Mackowski. Teacher pages/google classroom will inform you about projects, assignments and special events. In addition, students are expected to use agenda books to record both long and short-term assignments. Agenda books will be provided by the district on the first day of school.
An important part of sixth grade is organization. You will need to bring the following items to the first day of school:
General Supplies
- Zippered pencil case
- 5 packages of pencils
- Eraser caps/erasers
- Homework folder
- Earbuds
- 1 package of post-it notes
- 1-2 glue sticks
- 1 package colored pencils
Language Arts:
- 1 plastic red folder
Math:
- Yellow spiral notebook
- 1 yellow folder
- 3 dry erase markers
- 1 pack of lined loose leaf paper
Science:
- 1 Composition Notebook
- 1 plastic green folder
Social Studies:
- 5-Subject notebook- blue
- 1 plastic blue folder
General Music
- Pencils
Band, Chorus and Orchestra
Students will need a working instrument, a pencil, and concert clothes (black top, black bottom). Please mark the concert dates on the calendar as soon as you receive them in September.
Technology:
- Pencils
- 5 subject dividers
- 1” binder
Family & Consumer Science:
- Pocket Folder
- Composition Notebook
- 1 box markers
- Pencils
Art:
Students will need the following supplies in the event we are remote learning in the Fall.
- 1 box 24 crayons
- 1 box markers
- 1 set colored pencils
- 1 set of watercolors. Dollar store supplies are fine!
If you are unable to provide these supplies, don’t worry, we can accommodate you! Just contact the school office.
