The Athletic Performance Placement (APP) Test for 7th and 8th graders who plan to tryout for HS level fall sport is Monday, August 7 at 1oam at CHS. Meet in the lobby by Mr. Brantley's office. Due to the forecast for rain this evening, Commencement will be held in the CHS auditorium. Please be aware that, due to limited seating in the auditorium, only those with tickets will be admitted. For anyone who is unable to attend, we will be live streaming the ceremony on the District’s Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/ChathamCSD/. The feed will be up several minutes before the start of the ceremony. The Graduation Parade will take place step off at approximately 8:00 p.m., rain or shine. Everyone in the community is encouraged to come out for the parade and show your support for our graduates!

Our Class of 2023 will parade through the Village of Chatham following their graduation ceremony on June 23. The parade starts at 8:00 p.m. (rain or shine) at Chatham High School, takes a left onto Woodbridge Ave., right onto Kinderhook St., right at the roundabout onto Main St., and continues straight onto Hudson Ave. to the Columbia County Fairgrounds. The community is encouraged to come out and cheer on the graduates.

Our NYS Championship baseball team will be arriving home TONIGHT, Saturday, June 10 with a parade through town! The Panthers will be arriving between 6:15 - 6:30 p.m. with an escort provided by our local emergency services. Parade route: They will be taking Rt. 203 into Chatham from Valatie, north onto Hudson St./ Main St. to the circle by the village hall, west on Kinderhook St. to Woodbridge Ave. and then on to the school drive to arrive at CHS! Come line the streets to welcome our champs home and show your Panther Pride!

Due to the unhealthy outdoor air quality lingering in our area, Chatham CSD is relocating this Thursday's Music in the Park concert indoors to the Chatham High School auditorium. Refreshments will be available and concert time remains the same - June 8 starting at 6:00 p.m., see you then!

The Class of 2023 invites you to their Senior Expo Night & Awards, a celebration of their high school careers on Wednesday, June 7 at 6:00 p.m. in the Chatham High School gymnasium. Come see our seniors’ displays highlighting their many personal accomplishments as students here at Chatham CSD. The evening wraps up with our Seniors Awards Ceremony in the CHS auditorium.

Chatham CSD will be closed Monday, May 29 in observance of Memorial Day. The CHS and CMS marching bands will be participating in our communities' Memorial Day events. CHS marches in Ghent at 9:00 a.m. and both CHS and CMS march in Chatham at 11:00 a.m.

The Chatham CSD music department's beloved Music in the Park concert will take place Thursday, June 8, 6pm in the CHS auditorium (relocated from PS21 due to poor outdoor air quality). This community event features ensembles from our middle and high schools and is totally free. The Fine Arts Booster Club will be selling rootbeer floats as a fundraiser. Music in the Park takes place rain, shine, or smog!
