Albany Pro Musica High School Chorus on stage

CHS seniors Anna Miles and Cillian Reyome represented Chatham at the Albany Pro Musica High School Choral Festival on January 21. The festival, which took place at the University at Albany, consisted of a day-long rehearsal and workshops with conductor Michael Lister and concluded with an evening performance. The chorus was composed of 180 students from area schools who were selected based on their applications and referrals from their music teachers.

A group of 24 of these students, including Cillian, will continue their musical journey in July as part of the Honor Chorus. They will travel to Kingston, Ontario for a week-long music festival working with renowned composers and performing a world premier composition by festival guest conductor and composer Dr. Rollo Dilworth.
