Luca Spencer is Chatham High School’s Class of 2025 salutatorian. Luca lives in Chatham with his parents, Chris and Maria Spencer.
Luca participates in robotics, varsity soccer and tennis, ski club, and is a member of the National Honor Society. In his free time, Luca likes to go for walks with his brother and play video games with his friends. Luca also volunteers his time as a Tech Tutor at the Chatham Public Library, where he helps people improve at using technology. During the summer, Luca volunteers as a soccer referee for the local recreational league at Crellin Park. Some of the awards Luca has won are the Zonta Club International Jean M Coon Humanitarian Award, the CHS Class of 1968 Award, and the Rotary Club “Service Above Self Award.” Additionally, Luca was an FRC Tech Valley Regional Champion as part of the robotics team in his senior year.
Luca’s goal is to never stop learning; after high school he will attend Cornell University to study computer science.
