The CHS art department’s prom dress drive was a huge success! Over the course of the one-month drive, they collected 100 dresses!
“I cannot even begin to state my amazement and how awesome our Chatham community is,” remarked CHS art teacher Christina Scott. “I am truly grateful to start this program with such an outpouring of support!”
The drive was conducted in conjunction with the Kinderhook Library. The donated dresses will be used to offer area students a chance to "shop" for a prom dress and have the experience and excitement of finding the perfect dress without worrying about price. The dress event will be held at the Kinderhook Library at the beginning of prom season next year.
