Chatham's Faculty vs Faculty Basketball Game is Monday, November 10, 6:00 p.m. in the high school gym.

The MED PTO invites you to drive up and drop off your student's school supplies (which they will be deliver to your student's classroom!) this Tuesday, September 2 from 3:00–6:00 p.m. in the MED front parking lot!
Starting September 4, please use the email address medattendance@chatham.k12.ny.us to report your child's absence. paladinom@chatham will no longer be monitored for absence reports. A handwritten note will still be accepted as we transition to email correspondence. Please remember to include your child’s full name, grade, and the reason for their absence in the email.
Attention Parents/Guardians - please remember that ALL physicals submitted for mandated grade levels, sports and working cards MUST BE RECORDED only on the NYS Health Examination Form (or provider's electronic equivalent) or it cannot be accepted. Sports physicals done at an Urgent Care will not be accepted until reviewed by the District Medical Provider.

The MED PTO is hosting their Touch A Truck fundraiser Sunday, August 3 from 10AM - 2PM at the Columbia County Fairgrounds. Event is FREE with a suggested donation of$10/family to fund future events like these! The PTO will also be collecting school supplies to benefit MED.
Celebrate National Ice Cream Day with the Chatham MED PTO. Dine in or out at BLUEBERRY CHILL in Chatham on Sunday, July 20 and a percentage of all sales will be donated to the PTO, which supports all kinds of programs at MED !
Kids ages 18 and under can get free, healthy meals this summer M-F at the Hudson Jr. High School event entrance, 215 Harry Howard Ave, Hudson, NY 12534. You will need to call the kitchen at 518-828-4360 x3171 to be let in because all doors are required to stay locked. Breakfast is 7:30-10:30 am and Lunch is 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. (Friday they close at noon).
Summer meals are meant to work hand-in-hand with Summer EBT, a new program that provides food benefits to eligible children on an EBT card. These programs help kids access nutritious food while school is out. Visit SummerMealsNY.org to find summer meals near you and to learn more about Summer EBT.
MED Field Day is still on!
Pre-K, kindergarten, first and second grade will be from 8:20-9:20 am and 3rd, 4th and 5th grade will be from 9:40-10:40 am. Please make sure your child has a water bottle, sunscreen that has been applied at home, a hat and a change of clothes if possible because we’re going to have the sprinkler going!
Our 3rd Grade Instrument Petting Zoo Band & Orchestra Info Session is Tuesday, June 3, from 4:30-6:00 p.m. in the CHS lobby and auditorium.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month. To honor this month our mental health team is asking our school community to wear green (the color of Mental Health Awareness Month) on Wednesday, May 7.
Please note that Friday, May 16 is an early dismissal day for all schools to accommodate senior capstone presentations in the afternoon. The dismissal times have been set as follows: CMS - 10:25 a.m. MED - 10:40 a.m. CHS - 10:50 a.m. Please be sure to update your calendars!
