Chatham's Class of 2027 will hold its 3rd Annual Canvas & Cookies event Saturday, December 13 in the CHS cafeteria. There are two sessions for painters of all ages and talents.

Session 1: 10-11AM (Geared for families with students in grades PreK - 5, but all are welcome!)
Session 2: 12 - 2PM (Geared for students in grades 6+ and adults)

Cost: $20 per painter (includes a canvas, art supplies, and treats)

All proceeds will benefit the Class of 2027. Cash or checks made out to "Class of 2027" may be sent to Elizabeth Pegarella, CHS room 103.

A flyer for a "Canvas & Cookies" painting event. The event is on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at the CHS Cafeteria. The cost is $20 per painter (includes art supplies and treats). MED Scholastic Book Fair is November 19-21
Students can shop during the school day. Open to families 2:30-5:30PM.

Flyer for the Scholastic Book Fair at Mary Edardes Elementary School, brought to you by the MED PTO. The fair runs from Wednesday 11/19 - Friday 11/21. Students shop during the day with their class. It is Open to Families from 2:30 PM - 5:30 PM on Wednesday 11/19, Thursday 11/20, and Friday 11/21. MED & CMS faculty take on the CHS faculty in this annual showdown on the hardwood. Suggested donation is $3 students/$5 adults. Proceeds benefit our Class of 2029.

Starting September 4, please use the email address medattendance@chatham.k12.ny.us to report your child's absence. paladinom@chatham will no longer be monitored for absence reports. A handwritten note will still be accepted as we transition to email correspondence. Please remember to include your child’s full name, grade, and the reason for their absence in the email.

Attention Parents/Guardians - please remember that ALL physicals submitted for mandated grade levels, sports and working cards MUST BE RECORDED only on the NYS Health Examination Form (or provider's electronic equivalent) or it cannot be accepted. Sports physicals done at an Urgent Care will not be accepted until reviewed by the District Medical Provider.

The MED PTO is hosting their Touch A Truck fundraiser Sunday, August 3 from 10AM - 2PM at the Columbia County Fairgrounds. Event is FREE with a suggested donation of$10/family to fund future events like these! The PTO will also be collecting school supplies to benefit MED.

Kids ages 18 and under can get free, healthy meals this summer M-F at the Hudson Jr. High School event entrance, 215 Harry Howard Ave, Hudson, NY 12534. You will need to call the kitchen at 518-828-4360 x3171 to be let in because all doors are required to stay locked. Breakfast is 7:30-10:30 am and Lunch is 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. (Friday they close at noon). Summer meals are meant to work hand-in-hand with Summer EBT, a new program that provides food benefits to eligible children on an EBT card. These programs help kids access nutritious food while school is out. Visit SummerMealsNY.org to find summer meals near you and to learn more about Summer EBT.

MED Field Day is still on! Pre-K, kindergarten, first and second grade will be from 8:20-9:20 am and 3rd, 4th and 5th grade will be from 9:40-10:40 am. Please make sure your child has a water bottle, sunscreen that has been applied at home, a hat and a change of clothes if possible because we’re going to have the sprinkler going!
