Kindergartener's in Mrs. Baskiewicz's class enjoyed a fruitful lesson all about apples this week! They learned and labeled the key parts of an apple, identifying the stem, skin, flesh, and core. The learning branched into a fun taste test, where students compared the sweet, tart, and crisp flavors of different apple varieties. The grand finale was a group effort to make their very own warm, delicious applesauce, a sweet reward for their scientific and culinary exploration.
