Ms. Shetsky's first grade class learned all about coins and money! On Monday, they discussed the coins and their value and each student received an allowance of 120 play coins they could use to "buy" an ice cream sundae. The students sat down and decided on toppings and determined the cost of their sundaes. At the end of the week, the students paid for their sundaes using their allowance! They all loved their personal sweet treat!
