Mrs. Winter's Language Concepts 3-5 Class took a walking field trip to Five Roots Floral on Main Street in Chatham to celebrate the conclusion of their plant life cycle unit. While there, owner Kim Coon supplied each student with greenery, a variety of flowers, and a base to create centerpieces with, which they then took home. The students funded this trip with their profits from running their school store, The Panther Pantry, for staff members. The class would like to extend a huge thank you to Kim Coon for hosting them!
