Throughout the month of March, CMS held activities and announcements about heroes in our lives. On the day before spring break, middle schoolers went to the Crandell Theatre on Main St. to see the movie "Hidden Figures," based on the true story of three female African-American mathematicians who worked at NASA during the Space Race. Afterward, students headed back to CMS to compete in cooperative games PE teacher Lynn Fisher put together to highlight historical and everyday heroes, such as pioneering individuals, teachers, medical professionals, first responders, and members of our military.
