Shelby Hunt, a 6th grader at CMS, is spearheading a school collection to support the Lucky Rehabilitation Center in Spencertown and Everlasting Hope Animal Rescue in Hillsdale.
At CMS, collection boxes will be available on each grade level floor February 26 ~ March 14. The grade level that collects the most will win a special prize!
Students are asked to collect items such as:
Cat and kitten food ~ dry and wet
Dog and puppy food ~ dry and wet
Small blankets and towels (new or gently used)
Beds (new or gently used)
Treats
Food bowls
Toys
Leashes
Cat litter
Paper towels
“Piddle” pads
