Burns New Principal at CMS
This July, Chatham Middle School welcomed Michael Burns as the school’s new principal. Previously, Mr. Burns was the assistant principal at MED.
Math Carnival
An annual end-of-school-year project for the seventh grade is to host their “Math Carnival” for the fifth and sixth grades.
NJHS Service Projects
Chatham Middle School’s National Junior Honor Society chapter completed several community service projects this spring. They visited the FASNY Firemen’s Home in Hudson with music instruments to put on a concert for the residents. They also made their own Jeopardy-style game to play with the residents. Living History Day
As part of the seventh grade’s Living History Day, the 2nd Regiment Albany County Militia, a reenactment group based out of Schenectady, visited the school to immerse the students in 18th century life.
