CCSD physical education teachers took advantage of the recent snowfall by leading an Enjoy The Snow and Build a Snowman Activity Day.” They challenged student to get outside, build snowmen, make snow balls, and throw them using correct overhand throwing form!
Chatham Middle School has named the following as February’s Students of the Month. The CMS faculty selected these students based on their effort and good character; congratulations to (left to right) sixth graders Daimiyn Bonhotel and Madisyn Domkoski, seventh graders Taylor Van Wie and Josh Herbest, Jr., and eighth graders Nole Zaik and Kaili Gibson.
Eighth grade Family and Consumer Science students learned about healthy eating during a workshop and presentation with guest educators from the Sylvia Center at Katchkie Farm in Kinderhook. Students created kale, apple, and confetti salads made with fresh ingredients including baby kale, carrots, apples, and original dressings.
