Here are some photos from the 7th Grade Math Carnival. Leading up to their carnival, the seventh graders created games of skill or chance and developed a theoretical probability of a person’s ability to win their game. The students then played their games to determine the probability of an average person winning their game, which they compared to their theoretical probability. The event was organized by math teacher Carolyn Barone and the seventh grade teaching team as a fun way for the seventh graders to put their theories to the test. Students from other grades and staff visited to try their luck and win tickets redeemable for toys and gadgets at the prize table.
