Quarter 4 Letter to CMS Parents

(April 16, 2021)

Dear CMS Parents,

This is a reminder that Monday is the start of marking period 4. It is also the first day in a long
time that many of our students will be back full time. There has been a lot of planning that has
taken place for this to work. All of our decisions were made with safety as our number one
priority and guidance from the Department of Health. In doing so some class periods may be in
the library, cafeteria, or extra classrooms. In opening up more space during the day we are able
to remain at a 6ft distance and lessen the amount of students in a classroom.

For our students that have been remote, welcome back! Please know that everyone here will be
available to help you transition back to school. If you are curious about which homeroom you are
in please look on the Parent Portal. If you don’t have access please do not worry. We will be here
to assist you on Monday.

Parents, please remind your children of the important safety protocols they must follow as we
will, as well, in school. Masks must be worn at all times with the exception of lunch. We must
also do our best to remain socially distanced and follow all safety protocols. We have been
successful thus far in most part due to the cooperation of our students. They have done such a
great job this year! Thank you.

Sincerely,

Michael Burns
Principal
