(February 25, 2021)
Dear MED & CMS Families,
I am writing to inform you that this Friday, February 26, 2021 will be a fully-remote learning day for all elementary and middle school students. I apologize for the short notice, but our District just received notification this morning about a pop-up COVID-19 vaccination clinic for education employees that is happening tomorrow. As you may be aware, vaccines are in short supply and having our staff get vaccinated is an important step that we can take to keep our schools open and safe places to learn. We are pleased that a number of our employees were able to get an appointment for tomorrow. Going fully remote in these two buildings will provide us with the flexibility we need to accommodate these appointments.
CHS students will attend in-person classes as normal and the District will continue to provide transportation for CTE, private/parochial school, and other out-of-district-placed students.
As always, grab-and-go meals are available for students learning remotely at no cost. Meal pick up is from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at the MED Elementary School front door. Please email or call Barb Murray (firstname.lastname@example.org, 518-392-1536) to reserve your meals.
